Uncle Din himself has a tendency to draw of waterscapes in his compositions.
This (what I am calling) "The Fishing Boat (At Night)" original oil painting, the fisherman had moored his boat whilst (possibly) waiting out for the gathering (night) storm to pass. What a way (for a fisherman) to make a living! Always subject to the vagaries of the weather. Always exposed to the force of nature........
