An Autumn Path

Uncle Din by his usual nature, is melancholic by emotion. This painting therefore is one of his normal nature. Autumn and melancholic. In contrast to my normal preference for bold pictures.

Nonetheless, I like this painting very much. Why? I think because of the diversity in details; diversity being another one of my preferred adjective.

I think Uncle Din has taken great pains to depict an autumn view herein; and I hope some of you (if not all) will see the beauty that I see in this painting. If you wish to enquire about this painting, please email us at linaford.canvascape@gmail.com.

Have a good day!

The Country House

I asked Uncle Din to paint a country house. Why? We live in a house set in (what a lot of urbanites would consider) "the country".

Uncle Din of course has painted something grandiose (or at least, slightly so) - certainly more than I'd imagined. Certainly better looking than my house. [Uhuh!....]

Anyway, this is a picture of a more 'authentic' European house; a picture that Uncle Din imagined or conjured up from some views / pictures that he might have seen.

Anyway, I have 'coined' this original oil painting, "The Country House".
